today has been retarded.

I went to a recruiting seminar for a government agency who insisted that all attendees tell no one that they had attended the aforementioned seminar. gee, think you can guess who it was?

anyway. I don't think I'm a good candidate... its mostly desk work, and the few people who get to play real-life splinter cell are all former navy seals, etc.

I'm feeling really detached from just about everything lately. Not the least of which is the 'significant other', which is fun, because I get to hear all about how that makes her feel while I try my best to care so that I can just feel worse about what a prick I've been lately.

I just want to wrap up my business here and then disappear into the world.
