Five down. Five written. The time consuimg thing wasn't writing them, but the time setting up all of the aggrigators, looking at some sites I haven't been to in a long time, and attempting something really diverse, instead of focusing on one thing. Defining popular culture is really hard, 'cause you want to associate it with contemporary culture instead of the subject "Popular Culture"; each has its own theories of operation and methodology.
I also defined it against its order/premise: alt/pop culture is everything other topics are not.
The red herring in the bunch is the science stuff, but I privately enjoy seeing pictures of the red planet. I dunno, its the only thing my dad used to talk to me about, so they're a soft spot in my heart for NASA and the JPL.
