michigan pal critical oversite and i are putting on a show!

i'm stealing ideas from mcqueen and aiofe (who, i intend to convince, need to be on the show), but so far here's what i think it should entail:

converting vintage scooters to 4-strokes and/or snowmobiles in detroit, in our skivvies, (sponsored by vernor's and stroh's,) for the purpose of
a) converting the auto industry into a burgeoning local economy of environmentally sound supercoolness; and
b) kidnapping john lurie and absconding to canada with hundreds of sgs (this'll be a cinch if dubya wins re-election) and the following guests:

jim jarmusch
tom waits
willem dafoe
fishing with john narrator (as our narrator)
maggie cheung
parker posey
joie lee
holly hunter
exene cervenka
busta rhymes
deborah harry, harvey keitel, and the casts of smoke and blue in the face
denzell washington (just to see if he can deal with the counter-culture, while we objectify his supremeness)

interviews by michael moore, of course (don' be talkin' no smack 'bout my man michael--hear? just move along, move along now.)

ambience provided by the lounge lizards, and dance mixes, juniorsenior.
