Despite the way the day is going so far, I am determined to have a good time tonight. I WILL have a good birthday.

I hate when ex-boyfriends call.

From this September until next June I'm doing an internship in the literacy program of an elementary school serving homeless kids. I've been working to organize this for a few months. Just a couple days ago I was reminded that I don't particularly like working with kids.

I need to stop visiting my parents. Every time I come here I wind up feeling shitty about myself.

I bought a bed yesterday, and somehow that made me feel like a grown-up. Now I'm at my parents' house, and I still feel like a grown-up. Pretty nice.

Yay! Eval conference finished! Good eval! Now I can move and do other things that need doing.

I interviewed at a school/social service agency in Seattle this morning for an internship. It seems like I've got it. That means no classes, at least for fall, next year. And that has to be a good thing.

Time for a nap.

I was up all night. This was a bad idea. Now I feel like crap.

I'm very impressed with the new site design. So much so that I'm not getting any work done.

Oh, and before I forget: thank You God for the new Mary set. Now if only she would write in her journal again (or is it my imagination that she ever did?).
