I was up looking at an apartment yesterday, and it's a really great location, and a really great building, and the apartment takes up the whole top floor and is amazing, but the room I would be living in is cramped, and the rent is way too high for a cramped room

Rollerskating was pretty awesome. I only fell twice. I think that was really good. The kids there were kinda strange.

I had class all day today. What made me register for an all-day Saturday class? It's not so bad really, other than the getting up part.

Anyway...I'm going rollerskating tonight! Yeah! I haven't been rollerskating in at least 10 years. I'm gonna fall on my ass. In front of all the 13-year-olds who are trying to make out.

And yes, badminton does rock.

Despite the way the day is going so far, I am determined to have a good time tonight. I WILL have a good birthday.

From this September until next June I'm doing an internship in the literacy program of an elementary school serving homeless kids. I've been working to organize this for a few months. Just a couple days ago I was reminded that I don't particularly like working with kids.

I need to stop visiting my parents. Every time I come here I wind up feeling shitty about myself.

I bought a bed yesterday, and somehow that made me feel like a grown-up. Now I'm at my parents' house, and I still feel like a grown-up. Pretty nice.

Yay! Eval conference finished! Good eval! Now I can move and do other things that need doing.

I interviewed at a school/social service agency in Seattle this morning for an internship. It seems like I've got it. That means no classes, at least for fall, next year. And that has to be a good thing.

Time for a nap.
