Reporting from Ontario:

Things are going really well out here, though it did not start off well. I have been diagnosed with a parasite called Giardia (thanks for the parting gift Ghana ), and it had me super sick, and weak as hell. I was just laying low, and hardly eating. Tuesday night I started on treatment, and by yesterday, I was feeling much improved. Today, I feel like a million bucks!!!
I head in to Toronto tomorrow, and will hang with my friends for the better part of the week. Then, next weekend, my mom, my sister (and her family), and i, will all head up to Northern Ontario. Our family has a cottage , on an island (bought for $25.00 by my grandfather back in the 20's) in the foot of Lake Huron. It is so beautiful up there, I can't tell you. I will spend that week eating (hey, in Ghana I lost 25 pounds that I didn't have to lose in the first place, so yeah, it's a priority!), swimming and canoeing. I've not been there that much in my life but this is the second year in a row, which is super lucky as far as I'm concerned.
