I got a job.

I will be a receptionist at Salon Dusserre in Orange. Awesome. The owner called me today. I start next week. It's only gonna be a couple of days a week until the rest of the summer, but who cares?It will be SO nice to get out of the house and start making some kiznash.

I'm pretty sure I got the job at Hot Topic, too. They asked me to come in on Friday. I think it sounds like I got it. It's just like 2-3 days a week, maybe 10-15 hours or so. Just part-time to supplement the salon income. How funny, I wasn't even gonna apply there but one of my good friends works there and told me to apply cause they needed someone for a few hours each week. I know the manager and she also told me to apply. I know it's Hot Topic, but shit man, at least I don't have to dress nice and work at South Coast Plaza! Nikki (my friend at HT) told me the manager loves me and I do have retail experience so she thinks it's in the bag. She should know-she's been there almost 6 years.

But whatever, it's money and I'll get a discount and get to listen to music. I'll keep you guys updated as to whether I get it or not.

Went to my FAVORITE restaurant, Papa Hassan's in Orange with the boy for lunch to celebrate my new employment. It was GOOD. Lebanese food rocks.

I get to molest, I mean hang out with Anika on Friday. Fuck yeah. What a hot-ass woman! I am one lucky fuck. It's been a while since I've gotten to hang out with one girl, since Tory dropped off the face of the Earth. (She wanted to come to the BBQ, but of course she never called me back with her schedule. I think she called me today, but my phone gets no reception at the boy's house so therefore I couldn't pick it up. It was a 909 number, so I figure it was her. But she didn't leave a message, so...whatever). Anika and I are trying to decide what to do...hmmm..


-I think I want to cut my hair shorter. What do you think?

-There is a kid that lives on my street that screams bloody murder about EVERYTHING. He is such a spoiled brat, and I think I want to impale him with a rake and feed him to a coyote.

-Ugh, I feel fat. My boyfriend's mom feeds me way too much. Her husband and daughter are out of town, and Evan works and goes to school. So she is always calling me to go out to eat or order food and eat it at her house. I never say no. Hence, I am fat. I really need to start getting more focused on my exercise regimen. I just get so lazy sometimes (and I have a treadmill in my house). Chris needs to not be fat, therefore she needs to get her lazy butt up and work out.
I HATE cardio.

-I rented this crazy ass Spike Lee movie yesterday called "Bamboozled". It's insane. Rent it.
I Hollywood Video. They have awesome movies. They even have DEAD ALIVE and MEET THE FEEBLES (two old-skool Peter Jackson movies). I didn't check to see if they have BAD TASTE (his first movie) but I think I will go there tonight or tomorrow to see if it's there.

-ZARA sucks. They STILL don't have my paycheck with my shorted hours and overtime on it. Fuck 'em, don't EVER shop there!!!

-My parents want me to go to Rosarito this weekend with them. But I can't, since I need to be at Hot Topic Friday, which is when they leave. I feel bad, because they always ask me to go with them on their out-of-town trips and I can nver go (usually due to work or school). Dammit. They think I do it on purpose.

-SGOC BBQ Pictures are up! Look at Anika's pics to see them. I look like such a goofball. There's a pic of me and cynicminded that makes me look like I have the biggest teeth on earth. WTF??

-I think I am gonna bake something in a little bit. I made some blueberry and strawberry-orange scones the other day for my dad. My family savaged them up like the,um, savages they are. They love when I cook cause I am really good and I never do it. What should I bake tonight???

-Michael Moore's new movie, "Fahrenheit 9/11", comes out Friday. Be there or be Republican.
