Lucky died...
I don't know what happened...
I just checked his box and he wasn't moving. I was feeding him baby food and water...I was treating him so well.

I'm in mourning for him.

awww sweety....sorry for your loss.....may have been internal injuries from whatever hurt his leg....his last hours were better because of you....

more on that thread of thought...you came to mind this weekend...twice.....
first when I ACCIDENTLY hit a jackrabbit on the highway 95 Thursday....I tried to avoid him...but they are so fast and I was driving 90 mph on a two lane highway...I felt horrible and remebered lucky....

and again, when i found a deserted birds nest with eggs in it.... realised it had been long deserted, nothing I could do to save the babies inside....
