I REALLY need to get a job...all I do is stay up to like 4 in the morning and get up at 2. I think it's in order to temporarily forget about my pathetic employment situation.
Oh MY GOD I HATE WHERE I LIVE! I live in a gated community. These RAT-FUCKS rise at like 6 in the morning to shoot the shit in front of MY room. "Hey Jim, how are ya! How're the kids?" "Just great, Andy, just great! We're heading over to Home Depot today, we're gonna put that trellis in the garden like June had wanted to!"
May I add that these guys are practically screaming at the top of their lungs? I got into a huge fight with my neighbor across the street when I was in high school. She's the type that has a totally unstylish boycut and wears overalls. She has no job and sits in front of her house drinking caffeine-free Diet Pepsi in a lawn chair. She came over and bitched at me around 4:00 in the afternoon about my best friend and I practicing electric guitar. It wasn't loud and we were in the garage. She said "You know, there are other people on this street, and my family is disturbed by the noises you are making." I smiled sweetly and said, "Oh yeah? Well, when you start reining in your spawn who feel the need to run their tricycles up and down my steps at 6:30 on a Saturday morning and telling them to shut the fuck up when they scream and cry over a scratched knee, I'll GLADLY turn my amp down." FUCKING BITCH ASS MOTHERFUCKER. Needless to say, she never bitched again.---
I saw KB2 last nite-it was so great. How
fucking awesome was what the Bride did to Elle Driver? And what she did to Bill?
I never thought of David Carradine as menacing until I saw this movie. I liked the Pei-Mei scenes a lot. I wish I could punch through wood like he could.
Oh and if anyone gets a chance, watch the new Chris Rock comedy thing on HBO "Never Scared". He is so right-on about so many things. It was weird, kinda like a comedy show mixed with an angry political diatribe. It was really great. Some parts made me laugh so hard I couldn't eat my pizza and others were so heartbreaking that I almost cried (referring to race and political situations). He had an awesome quote. "Behind every great fortune is a great crime." Watch the special to see what he means.
Last but not least, I'm going to go see
Super Size Me at the Newport Beach Film Festival this week. It's Tuesday, April 20 at 8pm. It's been called the "Bowling for Columbine" of Fast Food. The tix are about 10 bucks so if anyone wants to come with me, you're welcome to. Check the SGOC boards for more info.
BY the way, if anyone's job is hiring, PLEASE let me know. I'm fucking desperate.
