Ok-some updates...
-The salon that I had originally applied for like...the day I got fired...called me yesterday. The owner apologized for taking so long, asked for my hours and schedule and said she'd call back soon. Hmmm....??
-Went on an interview today for a new store opening next month at South Coast Plaza called ZARA. I filled out a "quick resume" and talked to the girl for a few minutes. (It was a job fair). When my friend and I left, we got a little lost looking for the elevators. The interviewer ran out and asked me if I could stay for 15 more minutes. Then she had me fill out employee paperwork (like tax forms, direct deposit etc). It seemed like a good sign, since I didn't see them anyone else for them. The only thing that sucks is that the store doesn't open til May 30th...like dude, I need money NOW.
It is SO my luck to pretty much get a job that doesn't start for a month and a half.
-I flipped off my old bosses today. I went to pick up my best friend at work today and they were sitting outside on their fat asses doing nothing. They smiled and waved to me. I smiled back, waved and with a gleeful grin, threw up the finger. The looked incredibly taken aback, and as my friend got in, I turned up Killswitch really loud and peeled out of there. That made my fucking day.
-And I got new shoes! I'm not letting this whole unemployed thing get me down! Heheh. Thanks, VISA.
And last but not least, I'm going to the SGOC Ice Cream Anti-Social tomorrow! Fun!! Hope to meet any OC'ers!
