soooo tired but here's my update
i went to sanskrit class last night. how often do you get to say that? it was really interesting but not something i can easily explain in my journal. tom. i'm getting out of work early to go to a class on the kabbalah, tree of life and how they relate to the power of prayer through sound. i'm excited about that. plus, there are nuns and monks on campus. they are students/followers of Thich Nhat Hahn and they are going to teach a class tommorrow night. since they are leading a mindfulness retreat all of our meals are in silence. it's interesting to sit at a full table and not say a word. now that i'm getting used to it it's kind of nice. i am so sleepy after my energy class today. i went to the library to read and then watch a movie but i just couldn't make it.....yawn.
now for those of you that bothered to read all of that.....stress from home is also getting to me. my 16 yr old beauty queen cousin has run away from home and is being looked for by the cops. apparantly they found some of her stuff in a stolen car and she did a runner. so i hope she's ok.
