Smoke some Grindcore on G4 on 4/20...
Okay, I know that some of you may be engaging in some recreational activity on April 20th. If you feel the need to watch mindless TV during this special day, y'know, as a way to enhance that experience, G4 is running a whole day of programming dedicated to 4/20 and I'm hosting a very special episode of Grindcore in which we'll condense the Troma classic, Class of Nuke 'Em High into 30 minutes of mind-blowing gooey TV goodness. Basically we cut out all the boring plot and character development and only show the sex and violence - the best parts of the movie.
That's me with the hottest geek on G4, Blair Butler, and looking very dapper is Sir Lloyd Kaufman...
For those that don't know, The Class of Nuke 'Em High is regarded by respected film critics as one of the greatest films ever made, even better than that boring and overrated black & white stinkfest Citizen Kane. The 1986 classic teen movie follows events at a high school that goes wacko after a batch of radioactive pot is sold to the student body. They get high, clothes come off (we see boobs), mutant creatures run amok, a student rebellion breaks out and, as with all Troma films, hilarity ensues.
I'm joined on Grindcore by sexy comic book geekstress Blair Butler, who offers her color commentary, along with Troma Studios Chief Lloyd Kaufman, who gives us the inside dope... so to speak.
The Toxic Avenger will also get the "Grindcore" treatment on G4 in an upcoming episode this summer...
The show airs on Sunday, April 20th, of course, at 7 PM and at 2 AM or just check the G4 web site or local listings or program your Tivo or DVR or whatever. Hell, I don't even know when TV shows come on anymore, I just record stuff and watch it when I feel like.
