Well...
After over 30 hours of labor, I delivered my beautiful Stella Rose into this world at 9:10 pm on Friday, September 21. All I can say is that I never thought I would ever hold the world in my hands, but, when I look at my daughter, everything else seems so small. She's bigger than everything, and she's snoring in my ear. How did this happen? Whoa.
She had to spend a week in the hospital--my water broke so early, and I had a fever--so we had to deal with looking at an IV sticking out of her head for a while. She's home now, looking more and more like her father every day.
I could eat her up, I love her so.

Stella!!! Great name. My daughter is Stella Jolie. Kids should have a name that can be called out across the ocean!
