Oh dear, I've been slammed so much with school and work that I haven't really had a chance to breathe. I've also rediscovered soy caramel lattes, so there's always that. What's been going on? Oh yes...THE SAINTS WON THE FRAKKING SUPERBOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Words really cannot express how wonderful things have been since last sunday, but I'll try to explain:

We made the game a family affair, since my mom and dad are huge fans (I went to my first game when I was 10 years old). It was very intense and very loud all throughout, with the exception of The Who (quick aside here--I was very disappointed). When we all finally figured out that we were going to win, everyone was crying and hugging. My dad had the biggest smile on his face. I'll never forget a single moment, as long as I live.

Anything else....Oh, I've made some very good grades thus far, including an A on my first Bio exam. I gotta say that I've worked my ass off, so it's great to see it all pay off.

I'm trying to plan a trip to Dallas for Musink with the old man. It's just perfect that the con is during spring break! There should be a ton of SGs there, including the lovely Alissa Brunelli *fingers crossed*. If things work out and I get reimbursed by the government for last semester's tuition, I'll be able to get some of the art I've always wanted. Wish me luck!
