Sooo... been up for 24 hours... maybe more, less... and then I didn't eat anything till 6, that's good right? Great... I looked gaunt in the mirror.
Athough I did get my red cathodes in the mail today! Whoohoooo and I spent allllllllllllllllllllll day installing them. As it's my first interior lighting install, I guess it went okay. I used 25 feet worth of cable
christ... I still havn't gotten power to them though, that'll be tomo... later today. 
Figure I'll disconnect the lighter and wire that to a fuse holder then to the switch and then to the cathodes... OR get a fuse tapper and place a new fuse into the box with said tapper and run a line from there to the switch and so forth. Not sure which route I'll take. Both offer advantages, the first is probably easier to hookup and diagnose, but it's behind a kicker panel that takes a bit of effort to take off. The second choice is very easy to get to... but will the tapper work properly? Who knows.
I also will probably redo the entire wiring, as I probably made my lines a bit longer than needed, instead of as short a distance as possible. The shorter the lead the brigher the light! But since I've been to the same audio place 3 times in the past.. 3 days, I figure I'll go somewhere else or order it online if possible.
The cathodes are behind the handles in the car, and are still functional. Only my mom really uses them
