Adventure awaits; unplug yourself.

And a teaser shot of 'Eve', new collaboration piece for 'Post Up', another group show at Ayden Gallery, also opening on the 25th!

In other news, one of my Calgary friends won a little contest, so I spend last week on a 3-storey houseboat with 17 awesome people, mostly my Shambhala crew.. ARRR!!!

Didn't help matters that four of them are freekin' grade-A DJs, and kept the party rocking for about 96 hours. Pure joy trip, reunited with my Shambhafriends, integration of magical new friends, amazing new experiences, so many bubbles! I must say it's lovely cutting loose with people who know how to push boundaries, but stay responsible so that Good Times can keep rolling, and we can get our damage deposit back, too. Looks like this might be an annual thing now! Thankfully Phoenix & I are able to maintain our lifestyle as such that allows for spontaneity & experiences such as this to manifest without negative consequence, just self-imposed pressure. You've got to be able to 'unplug' yourself, and stand in a meadow at dusk.. too easy to wave your friends away, telling yourself when things get a little less busy.. by the time your life gets 'less busy' your world will have shrunk and your friends might be gone. We've all got life to live, and love to give, yo.
