It's rare for me to meet someone and be instantly comfortable with them. Especially the last few months, after moving hours away from everything familiar and starting new in a place that sometimes seems so void of substance.
On Saturday I met Natty and instantly felt a kinship... She's so refreshingly real and funny and sweet. We had a bonding day at the beach filled with her yummy frozen mudslides, her friend's work gossip and drama, many bathroom trips for me, laughter, photos and conversation. A bonus: I also got to meet trucksandorweed, who I have been wanting to meet and is just as cute, intelligent and interesting as her journal suggests. I am hoping to see these girls again very soon. So YAY for me, I finally almost feel as though I belong here.
