Another Ten Topic Journal!
1. *cough cough*
I've been sick for a few days. Yesterday and today I have pretty much just been sitting around in my house, reading and blowing my nose and trying not to feel so cold and miserable. I feel completely unproductive. I don't know what I think I "should" be doing, but I feel lazy and restless. The fact that it's storming outside is adding to my misery. Thankfully, though, I think the sickness is on its way out instead of hanging around for at least a week like my usual winter cold. Thanks in part to these herbs I have been taking for a few months for my immune system. Yyyaaaaaaayy Astragalus! I think I'll take one right now.
2. I don't know if imbedding this is going to work, but here goes my attempt at putting up a youtube video:
I got to see James for the first time in a couple months last week. (Yyyaaaaaaayy James!) We ate tasty vegan food, caught up, made future plans, and got silly for a while with our favorite song.
3. Happy New Year! I have 3 resolutions:
*smoke less weed this year than in 2007 (and 2006 and 2005)
*finish my yoga teacher training!!! and
*always remember to shake the mustard bottle before I use it so I won't get that yellow watery stuff all over my bread. grrr! Already broke the last one on the 1st, but I'll try harder.
4. I had an unusual, interesting xmas. I didn't have to see any family members I didn't want to, or answer any silly questions about what I'm doing with myself. My mom and I enjoyed each others company very much, even though we drank too much and spilled all our secrets. That woman is my favorite person in the world.
5. I need to write more. I keep putting off starting another diary even though I know it helps me to get my thoughts down on paper.
6. Trixie is the blondest, cutest roommate ever. I barely see her, but I sure do love her!
7. I am going to shoot a new set soon. I promise. I just need an outfit. And to get to LA.
8. Dick will make you slap somebody!!!
9. I have been trying to say "like" less. Noticing it in other people's speech and it's beginning to bug the hell out of me. That and "you know."
10. New favorite song/video is "hustler" by Simian Mobile Disco.
