It's just been too hot to do anything except complain about how hot it's been.
And I wouldn't be such a whiny-pants about it if it cooled off a bit at night. But, instead, the humidity goes up and I feel like I'm walking around in a moist, steamy blanket. I haven't been sleeping well.
Trixie and I have been hanging out in the backyard, riding the inflatable whale and octopus in our ridiculously large kiddie pool. Some potato salad has been made, and hot dogs consumed. There's cake in the fridge. We haven't been wearing much of anything.
Kinda bummed because we have the top of a duplex and haven't had anyone living under us pretty much the whole time we've been here. Now the landlord has been banging and power-tooling around down there since Wednesday morning and we're gonna have to share our house soon. I am so not looking forward to that. I won't have a parking space any more and we won't be able to put out the pool and have bbqs and walk around outside in next to nothing. There will be people to awkwardly say hello to every time we should happen to pass. Blech.
I've been too lazy/hot/busy with my new bf to take pictures lately. So here's one from a while ago, when the weather still allowed me to wear jeans.

it does sound like you are having fun in your back yard.
Well that sucks, maybe you should try to find some friends to move in down there, if I could I would move down there, I would love to live under girls as cool as you 2.
That is a really beautiful photo of you.
