Happy New Year Everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful New Year and that you are all looking forward to the exciting things that lay ahead for us this year.
The Good stuff first.
Since I have this 3 month wait thing before can submit a new set, Ive been toying around with new Photographers.
I have a shoot on Friday in Cincinnati, OH and I had a shoot with a new guy Don on December 30th.
It was fun working with someone new, and the results are pretty impressive.
You can see a few of the cool images we got in my picture gallery, I have uploaded about 44 pics for your viewing pleasure.
My favorites are the classic/old fashioned looking ones, since that whole bettie Page/Cheesecake thing is what got me into this mess in the first place
Im a bit nervous about travelling to OH on Friday, but im dragging a friend along as a chaperone, and of course Im waiting on the guys "model release form" so I can check it out and make sure theres nothing iffy in the contract prior to my drive up there.
Ive stayed away a little these last few days, mainly because I found out new years day that one of the closest frie3nds I had over the last 6-8 years passed away during the night new years eve.
She went in her sleep although how peacefully is questionable as she was in hospital being treated for cervical cancer when she started having trouble breathing.
But hopefully she is peaceful now.
Its hard for me to mourn, Its not something Ive been able to do because im always the strong one.
Making sure im tough and strong to help and support everyone else when things go wrong, but I did have my own 10 minute breakdown and cried for her.
Ok so now youve all disappeared cause ive been talking sad stuff.
I hope my bonus for work comes in soon....as you can see from my pics i have a LOT of work still to have done,Id love to go get it finished at once, but its so darn expensive.
Im hoping to go have about a 5 hour session or so once the money comes in.
Hopefully by then I'll aslo have a few sets to toy around with and put to the side for possible submission.
I do have one set already which i Kinda like Im just frightened to send in cause I really dont like being rejected.
But we'll see what happens, I have to admit I saw a set put up on here the other day that had one or two images that kinda grossed me out, but hey it was accepted and published, lucky girl.
Maybe thats the effect I need to go for? heh ,,,
I dont think I'd pull it off though ...I dont have the face for shocking I dont think!
