A poisonous plant can be medicinal in the right dosage. A substance that is "good" for you can kill you if you take too much of it. These are the thoughts that I have been having recently. I have also been thinking about my acupuncture business recently. I think that, while I am a very good practitioner, I am not much of a business person. I have a hard time "selling" all the time, which is what you need to do to have a large practice. Sometimes it gets me down, but then I think about all the people I have helped without trying to bankrupt them. I give treatment away sometimes if people cannot pay. I wish insurance would be more universal in covering my services so that people could afford to get the alternative health care they deserve.
