Enchantment is something for children...yet as adults we often long for that time when we were enchanted by everything around us. As adults the feeling of enchantment brings with it the power of being - the feeling of Being charged up, vital, alive - yet at the same time it overwhelms us and takes over our lives sending us into a spiral of destruction. The task of being an adult is managing that power so that we can be productive and vital - connected to Being - yet not be overwhelmed and a pawn to the enchantment of our own psyches.

Enchantment as you describe it doesn't really exist outside young childhood. Which is a shame.
