So the countdown has begun towards my triumphant return to New York... I'm very excited. I love my friends dearly, but jeeze, I've been here three months and I really can't stand the city itself. Also, the lack of walking and huge amounts of mom's cooking have conspired to make me feel tired and bloaty. I'm looking forward to the much healthier lifestyle of dodging oncoming traffic.
Had a party on Saturday night, which turned out well. Nothing like going to church with the knowledge that two people are sleeping it off on the pull-out bed back home.
I'm working longer hours at work this week, which is cool. Working 9 to 5 isn't so much worse than working 10 to 4, and I certainly make more money that way. Which is good, because releasing this disk has been a losing-money-type proposition, especially since the other guy is being less than prompt paying his half. Comedians and artists, pfah. I gave my boss a copy of the CD on Friday. He didn't mention it today. I wonder if he didn't listen to it, or if he's just frightened to comment.
My mother lives in fear of anyone she knows hearing the product of my labors.
