I got new glasses! Are they not sexy? 
I'm leaving for nine days tomorrow to spend time in New York, Connecticut, Boston, and such. I'll be in the city Monday if any of you crazy crazy folk wanna hang out. It comes at a rather bad time, since I'll be gone for two weekends, meaning it will have been a full month since I was in the studio with my group for various reasons too stupid to name.
Did I mention I was cutting a CD? I'm cutting a CD. With my musical comedy duo "We're Not Really a Group." It will be glorious. It will also be about ten bucks if you wanna reserve your copy now. Or if you wanna hear some sample tracks from our live performances, drop me an IM or something.
My mom was out of town the past couple days. With my brother at camp, that meant me and my dad got to spend a lot of time together. Which was really cool; this man scared the living shit out of me when I was little, and I'm kinda at that point where for the first time I can relate to my parents as people and not My Parents, if you follow. We watched a lot of movies that my mom would have hated. It was great.
I finally took a picture of my nipple piercing if you wanna see it. It's in my "Me" pics folder. I decided against posting it here, since I would never make someone look at my nipples without their express prior consent. It's not pretty. The nipples, I mean, not the piercing; the PIERCING is gorgeous. Gigi over at Kolo is one of my favorite people I barely know. Wow, that was really only s'posed to be a brief note, but it turned into a paragraph, looka that!
Speaking of piercings, I'm probably going to get my nape done at the end of the summer before I go back to school. Possibly not, though; I want the piercing, but it's really expensive and the long hair would be Unhelpful. We'll see how my finances look when the time comes.
Last weekend there were three bands playing that I wanted to see, and I didn't get to see ANY of them. Color me irritated. Especially since I was living with the knowledge that Mindless Self Indulgence was playing in New York at that very moment not four blocks from my dorn.

Just that my two cents were well spoken and that you agreed. Nothing proclaiming I am the second coming or anything, but it was definatly nice to know somebody shared my thoughts in the thread.
