I've had a pleasantly geeky, low-key memorial day. Started off with some coffee and a danish, had a nice big brunch, then drove up to Oxford Games and Comics and picked up volume 4 of Transmetropolitan (and talked with the counter girl a while). Saw Star Wars finally (it didn't suck! YAY!), finished up my new comics, and unsuccessfully attempted to create a Sim that looked like me. All in all, I feel I've lived up to my nerdly potential.

I hate trying to engineer a Xip Sim. She always comes out looking like Xena, Warrior Princess.

is transmet good? i would imagine so if you are still with it by book 4. i keep picking it up and then putting it back down again and getting something else... you should give me some comic book recommendations, i always get way too indecisive when i'm in the store attempting to pick something out.
