Ugh. I just woke up from a nightmare in a pool of my own sweat.
I have an audition Thursday, and I guess I didn't realize how much it was stressing me out. It's for the agency that places all the church choirs in New York, and if I get placed I stand to make 180 bucks a week - which would be, as they say, a DRAMATIC change in my lifestyle, because that would just be spending money.
So of course, in my dream, everything that can go wrong does. First of all, I sleep in, and so don't have the time to dress appropriately, warm up or take out any of my piercings. The guy auditioning me notices some of the more offensive buttons on my jacket. Then he informs me that it is in fact a children's choir, and I practice a bit with the kids, who don't like me (I do not know why this is part of the dream, since kids generally DO like me and I don't really mind kids, but there they were). Finally, we get to my solo pieces, and I realize I've forgotten my sheet music. Yes! At an audition! So I'm frantically running around the church looking for sheet music and calling people to bring it to me and I realize that anyone who could bring it to me is already with me at the church for moral support.
It was a really shitty dream.
I think I'm gonna go rehearse a bit now.

The phone numbers are salvageable, but I have to buy a new phone in order to get to them, and I am very reluctant to buy a new phone.
