So who else is as apathetic about the oscars as me?!?!

Anyway, last night was fairly awesome. Me, Krrn, SafariBob, and another friend who isn't cool enough for SG all went to Molly's art show, which was pretty awesome, and I got to meet Molly, who gave me a lovely print for my troubles, as well as drink free alcohol and watch the gyrating ass of the burlesque dancer in the window. At one point a couple of fire trucks were passing and actually stopped to watch. Then... they circled the block. Twice. biggrin

After that, we headed over to the Thirsty Scholar for some non-free alcohol (served up by an awesome Irish bartender who remembers my name) and darts, followed by a nice second dinner at Yaffa's (accompanied by wine). Then Krrn and half the group left for the evening, and me and SafariBob headed up to the K-Lounge where one of our friends works. Sadly, the K-Lounge turned out to be very, very not our style and VERY expensive. I spent more there on three drinks than the entire rest of the evening combined. Oh, also there was some Starbucks chai in the middle there somewhere.

After that I wandered, quite inebriated, over to the lovely luckylittleshark's room and she permitted me to snuggle with her as we watched Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Then I crashed on her empty bed. All in all, not a bad end to the evening.

As for today, I've so much important work to do by tomorrow that I'm somewhat paralyzed by the prospect of it all. eeek
