Holy CRAP it got cold fast. Yesterday it was 41 degrees out. Today it's 14. With a windchill of -1.
Anyway, I just spent a couple hours wandering 'round the village looking for gifts for the difficult people on my list. Just up the road a piece I found these two charming little shops right next to each other: an estate shop and a rare and antique cookbook shop. I got my father The Mafia Cookbook by Joseph "Joe Dogs" Iannuzzi, which he will hopefully appreciate. I also picked up this gorgeous plate at the estate place: it's all black glass with silver flecks around the rim. It was beautiful, and only five bucks, so I hadda pick it up. I just have no idea who I'm to give it to, and I can't really keep it myself... oh well, I'm sure I'll think of something ^_^
