i was in a wierd mood tonight.

i crept around my house in the dark and looked into my own windows. (i have a fascination with seeing into people's houses, little glimpses into the mood of a life). i looked into my windows at my environment, this space i had created and poured myself into, but in detached-perspective-mode.

it looked like a good place.

then that started off all kindsa deep philosophical self-meanderings and whatnot...i won't bore you with that...but it was kinda cool.

it also drove one thing home, though--i LOVE my baby turtles!! they are so fucking awesome. i have seven juvenile red-eared sliders in a tank in my bedroom. i raised them from eggs! they are all marked and are actually part of a mini-study i am doing (no worries now, there will be no turtles hurt in the making of this journal entry). but i digress...TSE #4 is the cutest thing ever! *squeals* he is either really dumb or has really big reptilian cuhunas.

all the others will scurry off and hide whenever there is any disturbance (be it human, feline, etc) but #4 will just sit up on the rock sunning himself under the heat lamp, his eyes closed, his red striped head dosing off in this turtleneck, his one leg sticking out at a funny, relaxed position...soooo fucking CUTE!! gah!
