today my parents came to visit and have dinner. i had told them that i was taking them on a short (4 mi), easy hike to a nearby beach with cliffs and fossils (lotsa sharks teeth!). my moms was typically wary about it, getting a bit hysterical about "rock climbing" and such. but i assured her it was cake.
so, we headed out about 1:30. got about halfway there and it started to thunder. plus elijah was getting whiney. so we turned around to head back. it began to drizzle. then it began to rain. then the skys opened up with pure fury. we had to walk over a mile in full on downpour. soaked to the muthafuckin skins!!
but then we had a awesome dinner and some francis ford coppolla merlot (very good, try it).
yesterday was spa day for my plants. they got the full treatment--repotting, fertilizer, showers and trims. and they look FAH-bulous, dahlin!!
and tonight is the sopranos season premiere!!! rockin!
