hullo chickens! what's shakin in yer world?
as for me, i have been somewhat incommunicado in these parts, yes. i've not been having good times the past week or so. life took a big crap in my proverbial bowl of wheaties. and this twasn't fun. oh no.
but...things are looking up now. *gives life the ol' hairy eyeball and a threatening shake of the fist* nah, nah, i'm cool with life, s'all good, the downs with the ups and all that good shite.
a pseudo-announcement: for various and multitudinous reasons i will be aboot here much, much less. first off, timewise and priority-wise, i really need to focus much more on my "real" life and my academic pursuits, and focus less on my online diversions. **disclaimer: this does not mean that i do not still love you all (you know who you are) and i still adore this community and this site...for the most part** however, i'm at one of those life thresholds and it's time to leap ahead. this involves a concerted effort to use my time more wisely. i definitely feel that there was a reason for me to become involved with the good folks of SGville, for a span of time. but i also know that since i've become entangled, i've done much less pleasure reading, creating, house stuff, hammock-sittin', and even real work. i can lose myself here, this site is that good. but...
secondly, despite the overriding love and grooviness, i feel that this site had changed somewhat and i just don't feel the same connection. things tend to cycle, though, so who knows... i'm definitely not leaving, but am seriously cutting back!
on a lighter note, it's decided-----we're getting a DOG!!! hooray! the menagerie grows!
so, i'm off to cuddle under my down comforter, sip some green tea and read my new book, "the lovely bones" by alice sebold. check it out if you can, very good...
and i'll see ya when i see ya and i will see ya!
