You think I'd figure out what I was put on this Earth to do by now. So far, I feel like I'm just taking up space. Every year, I think everything is going to change and life will kick into gear...but it doesn't.
I try to put myself out there thinking someone is bound to see the potential in me as a friend or boyfriend. Everyone seems to be too wrapped in their own problems, I can't blame them.
I just wish life were simpler and that we didn't have to be so guarded and scared of the person right next to us. We're all just trying to survive the day, smile a little and find a little comfort. Some where along the way it just seems like that simple truth has been lost. Like I said, I can't blame them. It's just a little sad.
