Next week is the two year anniversary of my heart attack. Pretty much every day of the year I pretend it never happened. It's coming up and I feel a little emotional and a little scared. I work out and I try to eat well (most of the time), but I still have a blocked artiery in my heart.
I'm glad I've lived another two...

Thanks, I've been in LA for a year and a half.

How are things with you?

I just found an old CD my ex made me. She wrote "For You, Love You". Sometimes you see something like that and everything comes rushing back. You realize that you really have moved on at all. She's married now. I really haven't dated much in 3 years. Blah.
I'm listening to the band, The Sundays. It's beautiful stuff.

I hate those feelings. I often run into my ex's. With their new girlfriends. Good times.

You think I'd figure out what I was put on this Earth to do by now. So far, I feel like I'm just taking up space. Every year, I think everything is going to change and life will kick into gear...but it doesn't.
I try to put myself out there thinking someone is bound to see the potential in me as a friend or boyfriend....

I bumped into this girl that worked on the same floor as me at my last job at Target today. I thought she was always really cute and nice. I almost asked her out, but chickened out and didn't.
We made small talk, I didn't ask her out again...then I said goodbye to her, turned and bumped into a metal pole that was directly behind...

I agree with all the other girls. Ask her out! You are shy, and it is cute.. but don't let it stand in the way of WOMAN. You've got nothing to loose. Next blog better be abut your date with her wink kiss
sunrize:
Aawww. I gotta say, that I too agree with the other ladies. Ask her out!

I like SG a lot but I can't get around the fact that I have no social life. No matter how many girls I have "crushes" on here, it doesn't make up for the fact that I can't get a date to save my life. I can't really seem to connect with anyone. Blah. I want to change that soon. I miss getting some affectiion....

Indiana Jones is coming back and I feel like I'm 12 again!
Actually, I wish I was about 23 again, but knowing what I know now...not that it's alot, but damn I didn't have a clue when I was 23. Maybe instead of Indy, I should be hoping for a the Delorean from Back to the Future, so I can change my past or something......

I witnessed something truly profound tonight. I was at a memorial for a co-worker, I sat there watching her widowed husband. He barely shed a tear but had an easy smile and a reassuring hug for all that approached him. He seemed to give more comfort that he received, just basking in the memory of his late wife. That is true love and it was...

For some reason, I think this blog just made my day. That is really sweet and the way you wrote it told such a story. Thank you.

I happened to notice the testimonial you left for me and I just wanted to drop in and let you know that I really appreciated what you said! smile So, thank you so much...such a sweet thing to say.

I have a memorial to go to tomorrow. It's for a woman I had just been working with for a couple weeks. I saw her the day before she passed away. It's a reality check. Life is uncertain, try to be happy and be around people you love.
allisyn:
sad! Good luck tomorrow frown
jamila:
No kidding. That happened a couple months ago at work to me. Weird and creepy.
