My analogy of the state of this country.
We are nothing more than monkeys that have been giving shiny objects to distract us from the real problems as well as how to take care of ourselves. If you think about it. It's true. Go watch them at the zoo. They're in their own little world until you bother them. Then they sling their poo. Not at the hand that feeds but those that look in on them.
Just like us.. We sit here and wait for our overlords to tell us how to live our lives. Yet when another country looks in on us and comments; we sling our poo at them. That's the only thing we can come together about.
