Twice in one month. Blame it on someone sending me a friend request.
My best friend got married a weekend ago. His wife is a cute girl, nice and loves soccer. Which means her and I get along well. So, I'm happy for him. I had to be the best man though at the wedding. Which wouldn't have been so bad except the church women putting it on. Thought they should be the center of attention. Not the couple.. And, had they sang one more off key song.. I'd have beaten them all with my big ole boots.
Halloween party tonight.. No, I aint dressing up.. But, it's a slash birthday party and he's turning 50. So, I got him prune juice for a gift.
Project update.
Bought a new shed. Joy, which means I need to clear an area for it. Build the darn thing and then tear down the old one. It's 12x8 so more than large enough for garden and lawn crap.
Had a leak in the roof.. Part of the add on to the house that was done long before I bought the place.. Stupid flat roofs in Florida.. Patched it up and when it cools down.. I'll be up there ruining a pair of shoes playing in the tar. Yay!
Koi pond.. While I have bought half of what I need to enlarge my pond to 3000+ gallons. I haven't picked up all the building stuff yet. Since it's going be above the ground and set it in as well. It'll take a little bit more effort this time around.. But, I will have happy fish.. Who are all getting far too large for their current pond.. My Pacu specially, he's about 20 inches long now and 14 inches tall.. With his cute little piranha mouth. He's hand feed which is fun to freak people out over.. And, has found a love for peanuts.. My fish is spoiled!!
Other than that.. Turkey season is here. Which means lots of extra work.. And, extra money.. So, the IRS will be happy with their cut.. The rest is going go towards finishing my projects for the year. Yay!
