It had been awhile since I've gone into a bookstore.. Don't know why, seeing as how I do like to read. But, we were out shopping after our fill of mexican food. Got to walk off stuffing yourself after all. With it being early 'n all I figured what the hell, let's drop into Barnes and Noble.

Someone remind me next time not to go into bookstores. heh.. I ended up spending over one hundred smackers. And, could have spent more if they had shopping carts.. Good thing for only being able to carry so much.. I still ended up with some good collector stuff. But, missed out a few art books I wanted. Oh well.. Don't really need to be spending to much money right now. I gotta recover from my tax over-kill.

And, for those of you actually interested in what manner of texted material I may have bought.

Leather bound editions of
Grimm's complete Fairy Tales
Homer " The Iliad and The Odyssey "
Edgar Allen Poe's complete tales and poems.

They were only twenty bucks a piece.. So, I couldn't help myself. Now all I need to do is pick up a nice old fashion book case. heh.

I also got
The Book of Arthur, lost tales from the round table.
Ancient Egyptian Book of the Dead. art book with translations of their art.

And, one fantasy book for some good ole reading.

I couldn't believe how much the sci-fi/fantasy section has grown.. It's been a long time since I made my way over to one. I guess that's a good thing.. And, looks like I'll be needing to get my bum on the ball to catch up!

There was also this really hot goth gal in there. Who, I couldn't help taking a few glances at. heh.

On another note.. I'm still over-loaded on beer in the fridge and the pool table has been cleaned off.
