Well, first off. I have to say the ghetto really parties down on New Years eve. It was an endless array of bass music and fire works the moment the sun kissed the horizon and the long shadow of night filled the streets. Surprisingly there were no panic screams or police sirens. So, I'm guessing everyone behaved themselfs to some extent. As for myself. I stayed in. Though awake for most of the night, I didn't celebrate in the sense of the act. More along the lines of said Happy New Years to a few online friends. And, text messaged a buddy. I know not some exciting adventure I was known for taking part of in days past. My general rule of thumb though, is not to go out on what I would call "amateur " nights. There were way too many check points this year. And, people who normally don't drink are out in force. Evil bastards. So, in sat around and had one shot of my Ciroc, then mixed it with some new margarita drink that Daily's is coming out with. Wasn't too shabby.
On the news of the new year.. We're all still alive eh? But, fear not! 2012 is closing in.. Yay for those central american cultures that predicted the end!
