It's cold!!! 
Today was my university's homecoming/Discovery Day, and I was out there hawking linguistics to prospective students. Little do they know what's in store for them....
My girlfriend is going through severe mood swings, and I don't blame her. The hospital program she's in is understaffed, and some of the doctors and nurses that they do have are just plain inept. I feel like I'm walking on Humpty Dumpty-sized eggshells whenever I visit. Her acute insomnia doesn't help things either, I'd guess.
I'm really not enjoying this, and as much as people (my g/f, other ED patients, family, etc.) say how great I am for standing by her in torubled times, it's still really frustrating... Arrrr

Hmm, I'm not sure if that would count as an embedded system or not.. but it certainly is, well, embedded.
Creepy. I suppose if it's only used to save kidnapped and dying people.. then it's a good thing... but really, it'd be too easy to make it a form of control... yikes.
