So I couldn't understand her.

For Christ Sake's she was from fucking LONDON. I had to actual watch her lips WHILE she talked. Yes her accent was thick and yes I was drunk. But still. Why am I at fault? I conversed with her for a short time. By the rolling of her eyes and her bodily gestures she was either really NOT attracted to me or she was about to have some sort of siezure. I asked all the right questions and I abided by my rule : "Don't act interesting, act interested." It blew up in my face. She look astounded at the fact that Preston was playing the Killers (Imagine that) and got up and said she had to dance: "I'm so sorry, I have to dance to this. I think this is the Killers." She "thinks" this is The Killers? Sheesh. Stab me in the eye and burn off my ears too.

It's amazing how far I have reached in terms of self esteem. And yet again it's even more amazing to watch it dissolve in front of you in a matter of seconds.
