Hey guys! I'm bored so it's time for another SG homework blog! This time I'm going to confess something :0
So, my confession that I have a social anxiety disorder! I have suffered from this issue since my mid-teen years. For a long time I had difficulty leaving my home to go out in public, and oftentimes, doing so for extended periods would cause me to feel physically ill and go into a panic.
I started seeing therapists in my late teens, was diagnosed as agoraphobic, and was put on meds. The medications helped me cope and cut back the frequency of my anxiety attacks, and I was eventually able to wean myself off medications and form my own coping skills.
I still struggle at times in social situations but I have grown a lot and I'm greatful for all of the amazing opportunities I've been given!
