Yesterday the most senior person in our department (who trained me), had a freak out during our new task that has taken over our department turning into yet another sub-division of another department. Today she's resigned. Good for her, she's more intelligent and socially capable
than this job requires, and she was definitely over qualified.
This is fucking awful because, Cheryl and I did 80% of the work, in a department of four people. Cheryl had been training me in the work that she did, because she was planning to go on holidays. Now she's quit, and all of a sudden the lazier, more incompetent and considerably more greedy of the two other girls who work there, wants to learn how to do Cheryls work because she's scared that with me doing Cheryl's work, I won't be on the phones, handling all the mutli department addresses, so suddenly its going to be crystal clear how fucking incompetent and lazy the two of them are.
Fuck you both. If you manage to worm you fucking way into "doing" the work that I've been taught how to do, so that I have to do 90-95% of the work to keep the department afloat and you two paid, I will quit or at the very least ask for a transfer out of the department. WIth both Cheryl and myself getting fed off by you two it was barely tolerable, at least we knew someone else was working hard. Yes I admit there is a part of me that wants to see you guys drowning in the workload so you realise how much of it there is and how much of it, Cheryl and I were doing.
I will not be responsible for your fuck ups, and I will not keep fixing up your mistakes. I am not going to do 90% + of the work, and get paid fo 33% of it, and better yet watch you fuckwits getting paid for 33% knowing that combined you guys do about 20% at best.
I don' t work hard because I expect praise, I don't work hard because I aiming for a promotion, I don't work hard because I love Foxtel, or this work, I work hard because I do, because if you doing a job you should be at least aiming to make a half decent crack at it and because if you're working with other people, you should be at least aiming to do your fair share of the work because would you like to be doing more?
