All my friends have piked again but this time, fuck it I'm going out, even though I have to walk half an hour to a bloody station, I'm going out tonight. FUCK IT.
Oh yeah The third season of BSG has a fantastic cliff hanger. Love it, Been rereading Carpe Jugulam and Pattern Recognition, also reading a couple of other things, and hiring out DVD's like there's not tommorow. Still bored though.

Amused AND bemused? That's some pretty high criteria to fulfill. I'm both glad and impressed that both managed to be fulfilled for ya.
So very, very true about both people being awful liars and the lies catching up to you. Not to mention, if you're going to lie at least be more creative about it. I'm more willing to forgive a lie if it's a good story. And why do so many people need affirmation of their hotness/coolness/whatever around here anyway? It's like without validation they don't exist. What they don't realize is that validation does not now, nor will it ever, mean anything. Either you find meaning in yourself by yourself or you don't find it at all. Affirmation, validation, and meaning found solely by the praise of others is both false and fleeting. Also, it's rather sad and pathetic. But that's possibly me being judgmental again.
You do have a point about the acquaintance/stranger versus friend factor. Sadly, there are certain acquaintances who are rather good friends with actual friends of mine so that puts them sort of in the friend category by proxy. The consequences are the same so they end up in the same grouping....
And now my kitten is demanding my attention and moreso I think my cuddling so off to bed with me it is! 'Night doll.
