Had one of those days.

Saw a film that was considerably worse than snakes on a plane, a film that supposedly was going to subvert all these cliches of vampire films and instead felt like it was made by a bunch of camarilla/world of darkness nuts who thought they were really clever and fantastic screen writers.

It was fucking awful and Catalin and I walked out half way through, thank god it was free, unfortunately it was also paired with two short films made by some of the people in the film and had the same wonderful production (lack there of) values as the main film. The worst bits were the woeful acting, the lack of cohesion and the absolute lack thereof plot or decent dialogue.

Afterwards Catalin, Andy, Kristy (who both managed to stay in the film till the end) and I went down to south bank where we encountered a girl who clearly emotionally distraught and was trying to cut up with a broken pez dispenser, and failing that was going around sharpening the damn thing on everything she could find so she could cut herself, Catalin called 000 and tried to get a CAT team down to Southbank, and we all kind of followed the girl around trying to make sure that she didn't do anything bad to herself. Thirty minutes later, no CAT team, then about ten minutes after Catalin made another call, that the cops finally arrive apparently everything was okay. That left the lot of us emotionally drained. Then the ATM machine swallowed my card thus rendering me cashless, which couldn't honestly come at worse time. I have to wait till they send me a new one.

Its definitely one of those days, and I missed the birthday drinks of a girl who I care about deeply. frown

puke What a night. Its frustrating to see that those orgs arnt doing what they are funded to do.

I know its hard trying to control an out of control stranger. When I came up against that drunk recently it was hard to ignore that the line of ethics is so blured in those situations. confused

Thank you.
