I got my ticket to the Kevin smith Q & A double (with Clerks 2) at the Astor before it sold out, sorry I probably should have posted it in the events thing in SGAU , but last time I did something similar in relation to other things and I missed out so this time I thought about it, discussed with a couple of people informally and then bought my ticket. and more importantly, what gentle reader (god I loathe that term) could be more important in the realm of film than a Q & A with a cult director? well the limited release of the Canne's Palme d'Or winner of 2005, L'enfant.

I've be waiting for since I heard about it, and heard who directed and wrote it. The Dardenne Brothers who were also behind the movie Rosetta are behind this one. Its coming on as a double with the animated australian short Clara, but that in my mind is very much besides the point. It opens on the 24th at the Cinema Nova in Carlton. God damn it. I'm excited
