I have to admit I was really impressed by Cat Empire tonight. They did a great job at the Opening Ceremony of the Commonwealth Games.



They managed to play all their songs in one five minute burst

Its unfortunate that the teams took longer than that to enter the stadium.

Pass the smores. I still love the Church (one of the best songs about Australia ever), and I miss seeing certain friends who told me they'd be in it tonight.

Sorry, unless you were a duck (poor Leunig, who'll be turning in his grave, when certain people try to lynch him for that catoon) or a kid on a harness (who wasn't Nikki Webster, thank god) I missed you.
