I am Joe's unsympathetic heart
The first part of the weekend

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

The weekend had been good. Went out friday to a goth club filled with goths and decent music ( the last two were becoming a rarity in Melbourne) to say goodbye to a friend who was going back to Finland. Saturday went out to celebrate a friend's birthyday at a...

I'm starved for art, and inspiration. Besides I like films, and I'm curious to see your work. Oh yeah and I don't do things because of obligation.

did my singapore memories of tropics, sweet rot & incense ever reach you? that was the olfactory. my computer freezes a lot. have a look at new telefon foto images. i love looking at the sky. it is so much more present on painful days. that was one of them. the boatlike building setting off in the distance, monty python style.

My day started after 3 hours sleep, spending the whole day pretending to be on speed, for nine hours straight so med students could learn how to diagnose that someone had used speed the night before.
Nine hours of been manic, energetic, non-stop. Some of the diagnosis were quite disturbing, some thought I was a real patient, One gave me a stare of death, and...

ahhh 3D films!! The only ones that are quite up to standard are the IMAX ones with the slightly more advanced 3D glasses as opposed to the standard red and green ones... the 3D spy kids film looks quite bad...

I'm surprised they haven't done 3D short films on DVDs... i wonder if you can view in 3D on a standard TV.... hmmm... could be intersting. wink

Ta-Tao , I hate to be a junky, but this is one show that I occasionally have a weakness for. Finally a team that treated people decently won. bout fucking time. I didn't want to read up on the net in case I found out those idiot college drop-outs won (yes old news to U.S, blame the way the water turns, we get things later...

Went up to Kinglake on Sunday to celebrate Buddha's Birthday with Charles and LIz (his ex). I was mistaken for Charle's boyfriend for a second time (funny cuz we're both basically hetro), and then later on for a brother. I don't see it. Other than the fact we're both asian, have long hair, deep voices and entered wearing trench coats (its cold up there).

Anyway...

I think it's great that you're finding your own sort of belief path/system. Even though I agree with buddism a lot, I still view it as a type of organized religion, and there are some people that seem like they're only doing it because it's "the thing to believe in", (not all, but there are some out there like that). But good for you, I respect you for it.

thanks for commenting on my set, kiddo kiss kiss

Got distracted by porn. partially ruined pumpkin and lentil soupy/dhal thingy. Fuck. *rails in frustration*

Only other real highlights of the evening was spending time with my "little sister" Eleanor who I haven't seen in about 4 or 5 weeks. I adore that girl, her boy ditched her so I accompained her to someone's 21st.

and Charles, who ran around in pirate gear at the...

I havn't see TDC yet but I want to, I have read the book and did enjoy it, I just hope they don't fuck it up like they did with Hitch Hiker's Guide that was a total fuck up on film.

Got reinspired by Canberra to do more work on the Hikkikomori piece that I've been cracking at for while now. Still want to go overseas so th it makes more sense, and I can give it a real context, work on the little nuances in the language that I can get translated, but would probably understand better if I could see and watch it interact,...

That was an experience, An interesting one (and I'm using that word in the positive sense),

I've already babbled this to pretty much everyone who was there but that was the first time I've met people off the net.

In addition its the first time in a long while (2 1/2 years if i was timing it) since I've met enjoyable new company *sigh* and...

Costumes and masks? Sounds awesome.

And there's nothing wrong with living in a cave off rice and lentils. It sounds pretty good, actually.

Haven't updated for a while. Sorry if I didn't reply, didn't always know what to say. Going to SG AU Ball.
Should be interesting at the very least.

There's no one I really know, so normally what I'd do would be either eat cheese all night, or talk to my friends. Both options are out ( see previous sentence, and I can't eat crackers). Aahh,...

I'm a misanthrope too, but I go to balls because I get to wear pretty dresses. I was going to say you'd be out of luck on that count, but hey, at an SG event you could wear spandex and no one would bat an eye.
bridehead:
Hello! smile

Will you be my SG friend?

Pretty please with cherries on top?!

Please excuse the hair-stroking!! blush

Was great to meet you! xxxB/L ooo aaa

it's difficult to cut everything out...i ate some soy sauce the other day without thinking and boy did i pay for it. but in the end the trouble and expense of having a gluten free diet if necessaryis worth it. you can't put a price on health.
salome:
Don't worry, talking to girls isn't hard. Especially when you're on the internet and you can't even see them.

Just starting reading Crash again, Realised how much pulp I've been reading, when about a month ago I borrowed Pattern Recognition from the Library and couldn't read it. Then read both Crash and Lullaby and found I was able to read Pattern Recognition.

Reading stuff goooooooooddddd.
Need more things to read.
