It has been pointed out to me by some that Opie and Anthony's recent suspension was not an act of censorship, but rather the actions of the management of a corporation. Others have pointed out that when one in authority silences an subordinate, that constitutes censorship. XM is totally within its rights to do as it pleases. As a paying subscriber to XM Radio, I am in turn, free to express my great dissatisfaction with what I feel is a fucking bone-headed move. Basically, XM is depriving its subscribers of the entertainment they expect and pay for.
Their humor may be childish, racial in nature, misogynistic, and occasionally downright stupid, but XM knew exactly what they were getting before they were hired. Some sponsors of the Opie and Anthony Show have dropped their advertising in response to the suspension rather than the duo's controversial remarks.
I look forward to the return of the Opie and Anthony show, and I am completely unapologetic in my support of their politically incorrect, "Neanderthalic", and irreverent humor.

i'm a Sirius subscriber and I think it's utterly ridiculous. i don't even know what the issue was over, but it's just silly to censor a radio show that is a paid private service. UGH.
