I love sitting at the local coffee shop (lazy loaf and kettle) watching the world turn, always lends insight. Today I got to watch various elder couples interact, how they read eachother's minds and more significanly how there's no shame or ego battling between them. Reminds me of the film "Roger Doger" and the description of love given by a teenager in it. I'm very interested in the letting go of ego, not sure how to get there, I mean how does one really turn themselves over? Go with the flow of the stream and stop bashing against the rocks and slip over them instead with no more than a ripple? Saw "Wilbur, want to kill himself" a while ago, it disgusses these ideas, but doesn't conclude them, but I guess that's the point right? Humph....thoughts.

Bah. Spelling is for them fancy folks! wink

Perhaps letting go of ego comes with age? Not feeling the urge to prove yourself anymore, comfortable in your own skin, confused on how you were able to trick your significant other into staying with you all those years?

Or it could just be the old person meds they get to take. Who knows smile
