Not much to say recently. . . been working quite a bit and getting ready to take the dive and purchase a set of studio monitors for my apartment to improve my lack of tunage in the apartment right now. I still need to get internet at home too but I'm still to lazy to bother with it.
Classes start up next week, I'm not ready for it even though I only have 2 classes this semester, 2 in the spring and then I'm done with classes forever! Wah. However, after last spring's 4 graduate level courseload of insantiy + shitty personal issues + difficulty finding a PI I'm a bit tired of the traditional school thing right now.
I'm also peeved b/c I've been trying to get older skinny puppy albums and most of the 'major' industrial mail order places have them either out of stock or thing are on back order. Hello you are selling industrial music, you should have it in stock . . . especially skinny puppy.
I hope to be up in Chicago next friday the 26th for the Iszoloscope ('French Canadians are really weird') show with a cover of $8 and it is BYOB how quaint and underground. I also intend to pick up a new pair of shoes. Whoo. Swirly fluevogs for me I hope. nullSwirly fluevogs I'm still debating getting the black ones (would match everything I own) or the cool red ones.
I desperately need to get my haircut ~ it is just plain nasty. I need to get half of my head shaved and then get the rest chopped off and layered . . . I'm debating getting it bleached as well so that I can dye it . . . I'm torn between just dying it jet black and being goth as fuck or doing it all a completely unnatural color ~ either bright pink or purple. I haven't had purple hair since i was a sophmore in undergrad. Though bright pick was also a great hair color too when I had it junior year. Decisions decisions.
