Oh my goodness I'm updating the journal I keep forgetting that I have. Oh well I'm too freakkin' busy for the most part. Here in Champaign, IL as Nick is assembling the infamous Ikea futon that I have at my place. We made a good haul at ikea up in Bolingbrook, IL part of the vast surban expanse known as "Chicagoland" whooo. Nick was also able to buy a new lap for his living room, pillows, and a few other random ikea items. I admit it is kinda nice to have a family member not too far away from me. My family is so anti-social at times it is scary.

I was able to score 2 new chairs, a table lamp and a few odds and ends, like a crazy coffee pot thing ~ I have no coffee maker in my apartment currently.

In my limited time of people watching here at the U of I, I have seen more psuedo-freaky people in probably 2 hrs than all of Purdue. Arg! Fuck you Indiana and your lack of attractive males. I don't even need really weird looking people anymore ~ I'm getting much tamer in my appearance since I started grad school but still my options are such crap. People wonder why I want to graduate in 4 years ~ I honestly don't think I'll find anyone until I leave Indiana - period.

I'm going to go out drinking with Nick and his astro grad student cohorts tonight. Hopefully, it will be a good time.
